Magazine poster

I edited the central image on my poster by slightly adjusting the sharpness and colour contrasts and removing the background to create a white, blank background in which the band are stood in front of.

I included side pictures as this is a typical convention used and will help promote advertise the band in adding to the mise en scene of the advertisement.

I included the bands album cd cover as the purpose of the poster is to:

• promote the band.
• promote the release of the new album 'Red Ruby.'

I included a strapline as this addresses the purpose of the poster and is relevant to the advertisement.

The colour scheme was carefully chosen as it relates to the new album release 'Ruby Red'.

Therefore, most colour portrayed on the advertisement are red.
